RSS Viewer doesn't seem to want to update.
Dear Expert,
 
I've set up a RSS viewer on one of my sites. Everything seems fine with the exception of it doesn't seem to want to update. I have subscribed to the same feed in my IE and it updates fine. But the one on the SharePoint site doesn't seem to. I've played with the adjustments...but that didn't seem to help. Tried to read up with a google search and found some info about downloading new RSS readers, which I don't really know how to do and to be honest...that seemed a little scary. Do you have any explaination or advice for me?

Hi KKBBCCGG,

 

The first thing you'll need to do is check to see if Kerberos authentication is enabled on the server, otherwise the standard RSS viewer from SharePoint won’t work.
