Paul Culmsee over at EndUserSharePoint.com has a fun new post about some of the common pitfalls of SharePoint deployment.  He lays out the path to SharePoint ninjahood, visiting panda bears, ancient scrolls, and – yes – Master Yoda on the way.  It’s the latest installment in his series on the thought processes that must go into successful business-purposed SharePoint projects, and a great read for anyone trying to get a SharePoint project off the ground. 

Like the teachings of the unstable sensei from the Cobra Kai dojo, (curse you Mr. Miyagi!), Paul’s SharePoint advice is revealed in the classic belt-stages of martial arts.  One of my favorites is his Black Belt teaching on the “Yes But” Factor, which discusses how to deal with the common “catches and consequences” of implementing basically anything in SharePoint.
